Bio

I live in Guntersville close to the beautiful Lake Guntersville.  I have two daughters -Leslie and Betsy, and 2 grandchildren - Campbell and Caroline.  I enjoy floral arranging, decorating, and spending time with my family and friends.

I am involved in working in several different programs at Community Education:

I have been with the Even Start program for almost 3 years, and work in the 2 year old classroom.  I love working with the children and seeing them grow and learn, and watching the parents succeed in completed their GED!!

I also work in our new HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) program as a Parent Educator.  I have the pleasure of going in to the homes and working with parents of 3 and 4 year old children that are not in a preschool program.  It is a great program that helps us educate parents on how to teach their child and be ready to go in to a Kindergarten classroom.

In addition, I teach our community "Mommy and Me" weekly class - Babygarten.  This is a very successful program that many moms and children, from infants to older toddlers, come to each week.

I enjoy working in Community Education, and believe in our programs!!
